Stephan graduated from UCT with a Masters degree in Architecture. Stephan founded HDK ARCHITECTS in 2017 with Roan Hugo.

Fascinated with the idea of exploring the balance between architectural space driven by sensory experiences and that driven by the quest for beauty in forms, he sees every project as a new challenge where he can express his view on local and international architecture through these two approaches.
